The more that I spend time with the Lord, the more my perspective of life and myself changes.
The way that I see things is not how He sees things. Oftentimes, I find that my vantage point is off, and that I only see a portion of the picture, or a skewed version of it at best.
But the more that I allow God to adjust my point of view, my perspective is enlarged, and I begin to see things far differently.
He has the complete picture.
The more that I renew my mind according to the Scriptures and allow His point of view to influence mine, the more that I experience deeper levels of trust in Him, and experience His love for me more profoundly.
The concerns that were once pressing so heavily on my heart, begin to feel lighter. The appearance of the mountain in front me, though very real, begin to look smaller. And the fears and insecurities that once screamed so loudly, become as a faint whisper unnoticed.
My soul feels more secure, at rest, and at peace.
Let us make it our practice to daily, and intentionally seek the vantage point of our God and magnify His Name above all things.
Isaiah 55:8-9
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Romans 12:2
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
Psalm 34:3
“Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
And let us exalt His name together.”
